"Buy and Modify" Explanation and Instructions

When you find a plan you like, you can purchase it “As-Is”, or you can select "Get a Quote to “Buy and Modify" this plan." Follow the instructions for making your changes to the interior layout and/or exterior look and we'll send you a quote.

When you do this, you get to put your personal touches on the home plan, but the vast amount of design time has already been done.

Modifying Our Plans Is Easy!

1. Find Your Plan

   Find the plan you like and choose the "Get a Quote to 'Buy and Modify' this plan" option. This will download a copy of the floor plan, front elevation, and instructions for redlining the plan.
   If this option is missing from the plan of your choosing, please contact us and we will be happy to send you the necessary files.
   

2. Redline the Plans

   Redlining is making numbered notations on your printed plan and writing a corresponding list of descriptions of the numbered changes (click here for an example). Once you have completed the redline of the plan, email the redlined plan and list to us. Please do not send this via text messages.

3. Making the Changes

   We will make the requested changes and email you the modified plan and a quoted price for you to review. If further changes are needed, just let us know! After you approve and pay for the modified plans and have paid , we will email you the construction plan PDFs. Printed copies of the construction plans are available at an additional cost.

4. Paying your invoice

   Invoices can be paid by check or PayPal.
   To pay by check, please issue the check to "My Plan Store" and mail it to:

   To pay by PayPal, please send the quoted price to "jason@myplanstore.com" using the "Send Money to Friends" option. Don’t be confused, PayPal will show us as dimeplans.com which is correct.
